Barbara Hall

Barbara Hall is interested in pots that connect, that are individual and that are imperfect. Her personal pottery collection connects her and brings her back, momentarily, to the people and places that are the fabric of her life. It’s a celebration of sorts, eating from a dish that is part of history. She hopes that one of her pieces connects you to the story of your life. She prefers pots that bear the marks of the maker—throwing rings, a fingerprint on the glaze, a slight distortion or off round: pots that proclaim ‘not machine made, not mass produced, but made by hand in a small studio in Campbell River.”
