Join us in 2020 for several exciting events that will help raise funds for the Campbell River Art Gallery and its programs!
In the spring, we will feature a High Tea hosted by the Friends of the CRAG where several Alistair Bell prints will be auctioned.
In the fall, we will co-produce with the Museum at Campbell River an event around the artworks of famed local artist Richard Calver. Calver made a significant impact on the cultural history of our region with his unique talent. Join us for this event where you could acquire one of Calver’s signature works via a silent auction.
We are excited to launch SHOAL, an Annual Art Fundraiser benefiting the Campbell River Art Gallery and produced in association with Chief Brian Assu & Chief Chris Roberts. Taking place on Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Campbell River Art Gallery (1235 Shopper’s Row), the fundraiser will help CRAG with future programming and build on existing outreach efforts to a growing and diverse community of children, youth and adults.
How the SHOAL evening will unfold:
One hundred pieces of artwork will be on view at the CRAG for the evening. Each ticket holder will be assigned a unique number which will be randomly selected throughout the evening. When the ticket holder’s specific number is called, that lucky individual can select one of up to 100 original works of art. One hundred tickets are available for $100 each.
At SHOAL, you will spend an evening surrounded by beautiful art; devouring the scrumptious nibbles offered by the Good Wife Gourmet; peruse through the silent auction tables filled with works valued at over $1,000, produced by local artists; and find yourself swaying to the music with a signature cocktail from the cash bar.
Each ticket holder is guaranteed to leave with a beautiful, unique piece of artwork and have a chance to win more from a number of door prizes such as Seafood gift baskets of various values or find a treasure from the Silent Auction.
