The gift shop opens December 2 alongside the Big Truck Parade

The CRAG’s annual Holiday Faire launches this year on the same night as Downtown Campbell River’s Big Truck Parade.

Opening 4 p.m. – 9 p.m, Dec. 2, visitors can shop a collection of carefully curated, high-quality fine art from professional and emerging Vancouver Island Artists, as well as locally produced artisan goods, including products made by the Art Hive.

The gallery is also hosting a kids art activity that evening and the Art Hive will be on site doing live screen printing in the lobby. Bring a t-shirt from home or purchase a tote bag, and support the program.

Launched this year, the Art Hive is a peer supported studio space for the unhoused community to create and sell their artwork.

Ornaments designed by the Art Hive and laser cut by the local UPS store are available for sale at the Holiday Faire.

The shop also features work by Perrin Sparks, Anouk Hartwell, Sarmad Al Mouallem, Claude Dalley, Martin Kasper, Nywn, Sham Sandhu and many more Vancouver Island Artists.

The Holiday Faire is running Dec. 2-23, and will be open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

The gallery will be open until 9 p.m. Dec. 2 for the Big Truck Parade as well as Dec. 21, for Carolling in Spirit Square. It will be closed at 2 p.m. on Dec. 23.

Keep your kids busy while you shop; Christmas movies and crafts will be set up in the side gallery for the entire month.

Proceeds from the fundraiser are split between the artists and the gallery. The gallery’s portion of the proceeds will support public programming.
